Terms of Service

Last updated: September 25, 2026

These terms apply to the Ntronix Volta website and Volta AI Engineer applications, including the account service, command-line and desktop clients, and Visual Studio Code extension. Ntronix is based in Kampala, Uganda. By using these services, you agree to these terms.

Accounts

You are responsible for keeping access to your account secure and for activity performed through your account. Sign-in is provided through email authentication or, if selected, Google. Do not share your sign-in credentials or session access with others.

Use of Volta and AI responses

Volta provides AI-generated engineering assistance. Responses may be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, or unsuitable for a particular device or project. You must independently review, test, and validate all generated code, calculations, circuit designs, and recommendations before use, especially in safety-critical, power, or production systems. Volta is not a substitute for qualified engineering review, verification, or testing.

When you submit a request, Volta may send your prompt and relevant active-editor context to the Volta account API and the AI provider selected in the extension. The extension may include selected text or, when no text is selected, up to the first 12,000 characters of the active document. Do not submit information you are not authorized to share, including passwords, API keys, or confidential third-party material. The selected AI provider's own terms and privacy practices also apply to its processing.

Usage and cloud history

AI features are subject to the usage allowance and plan shown in the product. Allowances, model availability, and features may change as permitted by applicable law.

Cloud conversation history is optional. If you enable it, visible prompts and replies are stored for syncing; this data is not end-to-end encrypted. You can turn sync off to delete synced conversation copies. Do not enable sync for material you are not authorized to store in the cloud.

Acceptable use

You may use the services only for lawful purposes and must not attempt to disrupt, abuse, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the services or another person's account. We may restrict access to protect users, the service, or comply with law.

Website and product information

Website content, including text, images, logos, and product descriptions, belongs to Ntronix unless otherwise noted. Product specifications, pricing, availability, AI responses, and service features may change. Confirm product specifications with Ntronix before making a purchase or deployment decision.

Third-party services

Volta relies on third-party services for authentication, hosting, and AI processing. Their services are governed by their own terms and policies, and availability may affect Volta.

Availability and disclaimer

We aim to keep the services available and accurate but do not guarantee uninterrupted access or that AI output or website content will be complete or error-free. To the extent permitted by law, the services are provided without warranties not expressly stated here. You remain responsible for decisions and deployments based on AI output.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Uganda, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply.
